Support from UNODC has been got

RPCO “DAPC has started realization of the project “Safeguarding the future through age-tailored and gender-sensitive drug use prevention” with the support of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC).

The project " Safeguarding the future through age-tailored and gender-sensitive drug use prevention " is the only one in Europe and Central Asia and one of 8 in the world that received support in 2020 for the implementation of preventive and educational activities in educational institutions and communities, based on UNODC/WHO International Standards on Drug Use Prevention. The project is being implemented within the framework of the thematic programme of Addressing health and human development vulnerabilities in the context of drugs and crime. The project is aimed to increase the effectiveness of prevention of the psychoactive substances abuse among girls in educational institutions and to increase capacity of non-profit organizations, state and municipal organizations and institutions in the field of prevention.
